About the department and role:
We're seeking a HR Assistant to join our People & Culture team based in our Bromborough office. In this role, you'll play a part in supporting the People & Culture team in delivering a comprehensive HR service aligned with our business objectives. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic administrator to join an established and supportive People & Culture team.
Main responsibilities:
- Supporting line managers and employees with first line queries.
- Support the maintenance, implementation and utilisation of current and new HR. systems, ensuring accurate record-keeping and producing system reports as needed.
- Administer documentation related to employee terms and conditions, ensuring compliance and consistency across the organization.
- Take ownership of the HR Team Inbox, delegate with the HR Team and ensure a prompt and timely response is adhered to.
- Collaborate on the preparation of monthly payroll instructions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of effective onboarding processes for new hires, fostering a positive employee experience from day one.
- Working closely with the HR team with the delivery of the HR Service.
- Assist with project work within the People & Culture team.
Experience:
- Experience in an administration role.
- Good knowledge and application of HR policies, procedures, and employment legislation.
- Experience of using a HRIS system.
- Excellent attention to detail, strong problem solving and decision-making skills.
- Proactive mindset with a commitment to driving positive change and continuous improvement.
- Understanding of a HR function within an organisation.
