Accounts & Payroll Assistant

Job description

We are looking for an experienced Accounts & Payroll Assistant to join our fantastic Bromborough office!

 

Our warehouse and distribution center is at the heart of the Oh Polly operation. While our warehouse operatives work hard to maintain our warehouse, stock and ensure that our customers receive their orders on time, our customer experience team go above and beyond to deliver the highest possible standards of customer care and give each and every customer the experience that they deserve.

 

In this fast paced and busy environment, you will be responsible for payroll and assisting the Accounts department on a daily basis.  You will be efficient, organised and able to regularly switch between different tasks and priorities. 

 

Working Hours

This is a full-time role working 9-5:30 Monday-Friday.

There are regular opportunities for paid overtime.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Inputting and processing purchase invoices
  • Reconciling supplier statements
  • Collating information and processing payroll
  • Assisting in month end processes
  • Support in reconciling bank accounts
  • Ensure that best practise is both shared and implemented within the company

Essential

  • Good numerical skills and able to make basic numerical calculations
  • Ability to produce work with a high level of accuracy
  • Strong Excel and communication skills
  • AAT Qualified or qualified by experience
  • Basic understanding of payroll
  • Highly organised with the ability to work on own initiative
