Digital Marketing Manager

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Digital Marketing Manager to join our rapidly expanding team. 

  • Based in our Glasgow office you will build and lead a team of digital experts to envision, plan, test, scale and optimise campaigns designed to increase brand engagement and most importantly drive revenue. 
  • You will be extremely creative and understand how important it is to stand out digitally. You will have ideas about how a company such as Oh Polly can stand out. 
  • You will understand who our customer is and what they want to see. 
  • You know how to get the best out of the imagery and content you have available at your disposal.  
  • You are confident taking the lead in building digital campaigns and assisting in traditional marketing campaigns. 
  • You will set scope, objectives, KPI's and then execute campaigns successfully and to target.

As an A-team player you will have done the following:

  1. Managed a budget in excess of £1m a year for digital ad spend.

  2. Consistently met and outperformed target CPAs.

  3. Been solely responsible for the success or failure of campaigns.

  4. Achieved industry recognition with an employer or as an individual (i.e. through record sales growth).

With Oh Polly you will be expected to:

  1. Double the companies ad budget to in excess of £1.2m annually by the year end 2019.

  2. Drive revenue of £16m over a 12 month period through 300,000 unit sales.  

  3. Be capable of identifying top performing content for your ads without the need to constantly A/B test.

  4. Report to director level weekly in a clear and concise manner with success defined and every failure with a recommendation.   

Required Technical Skills:

  • You are highly experienced with Google Merchant Center and can generate google shopping feeds and use Magento extensions to generate XML feeds.

  • You are an expert in Google Analytics and know how to build views, create segments and use these in your reports that you will be required to share at director level on a regular basis.

  • You know how to use Google Tag Manager to properly set up pixels and tags to successfully track conversions across our website and app.

  • You are an expert in Facebook ad manager and can create ad sets, build audiences and manage product catalogues.

  • You know how to create reports according to specific attribution models to accurately attribute sales to your campaigns.  

  • You understand the nuances in marketing on Instagram versus Facebook and know how to exploit each platforms strengths and weaknesses.

  • You are highly experienced with Google Ad Manager, audience analysis, bid strategies, shopping campaigns and keyword-level analysis.
