About the department

We are seeking an ambitious and passionate Senior Merchandiser to join our expanding Merchandising and Trading Department based in London. The same position is also available located in our London office. The successful candidate will operate at a senior level, overseeing a designated collection of items. You will guide staff to create an appropriate merchandise mix to optimize sales volume and profitability, based on emerging market trends, history, revenues, inventory and other business components, while meeting the assortment strategies established by management.

Role responsibilities:

• Budgeting, forecasting, capacity planning; creating detailed reports to support the buying and design team at product level
• Ensure company databases (Airtable) are accurately updated with current sales and stock positions in a timely manner across the board
• Weekly Trading Reporting - Monitoring Stock, Sales, ASP, Margin at top line and product Level
• Identifying and actioning trading decisions (inc repeats, pricing, promo proposals, stock clearance & intake management)
• Update of WSSI – forecasting and monitoring sales and stock in line with KPIs
• Work with Supply/Production to monitor intake dates to ensure accurate planning of Launches (in line with seasonality requirements)
• Produce and update production plan by country – to ensure in line with forecasts, capacity and payment requirements
• Seasonal Planning and Analysis – Collection, Department & Product Level
• Repeats and ratios on current styles – taking into consideration delivery dates and product seasonality.
• Review of selling prices (increase/decrease), move to sale proposals.
• Lead on defining and continuously improving the merchandising strategy

Essential skills and experience

• Educated to degree level in either Fashion or Business
• 5 years minimum working as a Merchandiser, ideally in an ecommerce/fashion environment
• Expert analytical skills
• Confident in Word and advanced in Excel, with the ability to create in-depth spreadsheets and manage data
• Clear communicator
• Personable and approachable
• Extremely organised with a good attention to detail
• Previous experience with a gymwear/yogawear brand preferable.

The role

• Full time (Monday- Friday 9am-5.30pm)
• Location: onsite only
• Salary negotiable DOE
