The Role
We are seeking a strategic Senior Performance Marketing Manager to drive our digital marketing initiatives across key paid channels. This role is pivotal in accelerating our growth in the direct-to-consumer (DTC) e-commerce space, with a specific focus on the US and UK markets. You will have a robust background in performance marketing, particularly within the fashion industry, and a proven track record of managing teams and driving successful campaigns across global markets.
Responsibilities:
-
Strategy Development: Develop and execute comprehensive performance marketing strategies across Meta (Facebook, Instagram), Snapchat, Google Ads, Pinterest, and TikTok, with a focus on maximizing ROI and driving customer acquisition in the US and UK markets.
Growth Opportunities: Identify and explore new growth opportunities within existing and emerging platforms. Analyze market trends and consumer behavior to uncover potential areas for expansion and innovation in paid media efforts. - Creative Analysis: Collaborate with the Creative team to analyze the effectiveness of ad creatives. Provide data-driven feedback to optimize creative assets, ensuring that they resonate with target audiences and enhance campaign performance.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of two Performance Marketing Specialists, fostering a collaborative and results-driven environment. Ensure the team meets and exceeds performance goals.
- Campaign Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and optimization of all paid media campaigns across multiple channels, ensuring alignment with Oh Polly’s brand objectives and global marketing strategy.
- Budget Management: Manage and allocate the performance marketing budget effectively, ensuring optimal spending across channels to achieve business objectives. Monitor and report on budget pacing and campaign performance regularly.
- Data-Driven Insights: Utilize analytics tools to track and analyze campaign performance, generate insights, and adjust strategies to improve key performance indicators (KPIs) such as cost-per-acquisition (CPA), return on ad spend (ROAS), and customer lifetime value (LTV).
- Market Research & Trends: Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging platforms to ensure Oh Polly remains at the forefront of digital marketing innovation. Apply market insights to inform campaign strategy and execution.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments including Creative, Content, E-commerce, and Product teams to ensure cohesive and integrated marketing efforts. Coordinate with global teams to align strategies and share best practices.
Reporting & Analysis:
- Monthly Reporting: Prepare and present detailed monthly reports on campaign performance, including in-depth analysis of key metrics such as CPA, ROAS, conversion rates, and customer acquisition costs.
- Ad-Hoc Analysis: Conduct ad-hoc analyses to understand the impact of specific campaigns, test hypotheses, and provide actionable recommendations to optimize performance.
- Executive Summaries: Deliver executive-level summaries that highlight key insights, growth opportunities, and areas for improvement. Ensure all reports are data-driven and actionable, enabling informed decision-making by senior management.
Skills and Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience in performance marketing, with at least 5 years focused on DTC e-commerce, preferably within the fashion industry. Prior experience managing a team is essential.
- Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with key digital marketing platforms including Meta (Facebook, Instagram), Snapchat, Google Ads, Pinterest, and TikTok.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
- Analytical Skills: Strong proficiency in analytics and reporting tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Meta Ads Manager, etc.). Ability to interpret complex data sets and translate insights into actionable strategies.
- Market Focus: Deep understanding of the US and UK digital marketing landscapes, consumer behaviour, and fashion market trends.
